North Eastern Counties Dobermann Club - John McManus (18 Sept 2011)

DOG CC, Reserve BIS  Top quality male, strong, outstanding outline, so well balanced, headpiece is very good, dark well shaped eyes, hard keen expression, head planes correct with desired stop, strong clean foreface, bite correct, deep chin and strong underjaw, ears set correct, reachy clean well arched neck, clean withers, strong backline with desired slope, very good in croup, deep well set body, good spring of ribcage, very good forechest, short coupled, muscular in rear, firm low set hocks, very good second thighs, best legs on tight feet, markings rich and well defined, his sound action on the move, for me is a true joy and as a Dobermann should move, great to look at, great to go over.  Good Luck.

Leeds
Championship Show - Roberta Wright (23 Jul 2011)

Another dog of excellent type, more elegant that my winner, made a good outline both standing and on the move, in good hard condition.

Newport Agricultral Show - Graeme Burnett (Zuffenhausen) (9 Jul 2011)

3½ year old black/rust dog of good size presented in hard condition and gleaming coat. Rich rust markings, plenty of fore chest with good spring of rib, good rear angulation. Moved true with purpose and drive. Was pushed very hard by the Junior winner for BOB but just got the edge by being more settled in the challenge as his maturity gave him the advantage. BOB and Group 3

Nuneaton & DCS – Martin Horgan (30 Jan 2011)

3 yr, tall square male. Strong head, with dark eye colour and parallel planes and excellent under jaw. Body is compact, with good shoulder placement, and good return of upper arm. God rear angulation. Moved very well. Have judged him before and he has definitely improved with age.

North of England Dobermann Club – Paul Harding (24 Oct 2010)

Standard male, dark expressive eye with parallel upper headlines, correct dentition and bite, good length of muzzle, nice reach of neck, deep chest, tight feet, well off for bone and rib, moved with ease true going and coming holding topline in side gait.

Welsh Dobermann Club – Jeanne Walker (3 Oct 2010)

Nice dog, larger than my winner, a happy dog full of exuberance with good head, correct eye, good topline and tail set, nice front. Correct angulation. Move OK. Could change places another day.

Stafford & DCS - Steve Greenwood (25 Sept 2010)

Excellent male of the highest quality super topline and correct wedge like head, outline looked superb on the stand and a very happy chap who showed his socks off, could have done with a larger ring to show off further his excellent movement and ring presence. A bright future I am sure awaits.  BOB

North West CA - Mr S McArdle (03 May 2010)

Substantial 2 year old male, in excellent condition, plenty of bone, beautiful outline, lovely head with a good mouth, lovely expression when alert, full of spirit expertly handled, move effortlessly around the ring.  A dog I am sure would win well at Champ Shows.  BOB

Cheltenham & DCS – Tracey Hall 'Zuffenhausen' (Breed) & Rodney Oldham (Group)
(28 February 2010)

Breed - 2 year old black/rust dog. Rich rust markings, plenty of forechest, good rear angulation, presented in hard condition and gleaming coat. Moved true with purpose and drive. Was pushed very hard by the Junior winner for BOB but just got the edge by being more settled in the challenge as his maturity gave him the advantage. BOB
Group - Imposing lad of very good shape, strength and length of head with neat eye, clean firm topline, sound enough on the move but not quite able to match 1 today. Group 2.

Stourbridge & DCS - Terry Colwell (Breed) & Tom Mather (Group) (27 December 2009)

Group - Strongly made, masculine and muscular but still with some elegance. Flat skull and well shaped eye. Excellent forehand with good legs and feet. Decent forechest. Shows and moves to good advantage.
Breed – This was what I was waiting for, a fully mature upstanding dog of 2 and a half years. Very good on movement especially on the gait, he was moved at just the right speed to show how very sound he is, just the make and shape I was looking for, I was happy to award BOB and he then won the Working Group.

W&B Breeds of Wales - Peter Voros (18 April 2009)

Black & rust, well matured. Nice masculine head, not overdone with good proportions and planes, little dewlap, nice clean neck, leading to excellent topline and tailset, front angulation marginally more than ideal, good rear angulation with nice bend of stifle, nice round bone and tight feet, beat 2 on movement.

Oswestry & DKA – Malcolm Smith (20 July 08)
Tall male of good size, a little rare at the moment but has a lot to offer. Nice head shape with almond shape eye, good angles front and rear, parallel frontquarters, nice tight feet. Sloping topline into correct croup. Move Ok when settled. Pleased to award him BP.

National W&P Breeds – John Phillips (12 July 08)
Square standard black & rust boy that shows lots of promise. Tail carriage high. Eye colour not as dark as I would like but moved around the ring well for one so young.

SWKA – Wendy Stafford (6 July 08)
Larger puppy than winner. A masculine head with dark eye. Very smart outline with well laid shoulders, deep brisket and good forechest.  Good bone but pasterns could be stronger. Pleasing rear angulation

Three Counties – Angela Dunkley (10 June 08)
Smart, typy pup. Decent head set on lean lengthy neck, ample forechest and depth of brisket for age. Well angulated all through. Moved truly showing good co-ordination for one so young.
